RICHLAND COUNTY, OH - Taking Root Farms is holding its second-annual Dash at Dusk 5K Walk/Run event at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 30 at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course outside of Lexington.

A registration fee of $25 can be made at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course the day of the event or visit Ohio Race Day to register.

With 267 participants, Taking Root Farm’s first ever Dash at Dusk was one of the largest and most attended runs in Richland County for 2016.

Proceeds from the event go directly to Taking Root Farms, which helps adults living with disabilities live more fulfilling lives.

This event will raise money to support the development of a non-profit day farm that will provide disabled adults in Richland County a place to spend their day enjoying purposeful work, meaningful play, and community integration.

The goal is simple: give choice, give purpose and enhance lives.

Area companies and businesses can also help make a difference by becoming a corporate sponsor.

As a non-profit 501-C3 organization, donations are 100 percent tax deductible.
